Starting Saturday, August 14, tickets to ATB Park as part of Together We Fringe: A Fringe Theatre Event are now Pay What You Will.
“We are not gates and fences,” said Murray Utas, Artistic Director of Edmonton Fringe. “But we’ve had to make exceptional changes in an exceptional year. Fringers, we heard you loud and clear, and our sponsors heard you, too. Tickets to ATB Park are now Pay What You Will. We want fringers to join us for a safely distanced celebration.”
Thanks to support from long-time Lead Partner & Sponsor ATB Financial, EPCOR’s Heart & Soul Fund, and Fringe’s community of local partners, Edmonton Fringe has adjusted the ticket price in ATB Park to welcome the community. Special thanks to the very many Sponsors who have supported the Fringe Festival for decades, and the new Sponsors supporting Edmonton Fringe for the very first time in 2021.
“This year has been a grand experimentation as we reimagine the Fringe experience within a pandemic context. We are subject to instant improvement, and thanks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors we are thrilled to offer our community a more accessible way to fringe with us,” continued Utas.
Inside ATB Park, you’ll discover the full Fringe experience. Outdoor performances, live music, tasty Fringe treats, ice-cold Big Rock beer, a comfy spot to kick back, and even constantly changing Alberta weather to keep you guessing. This year, you will require a ticket to access ATB Park, but tickets are now Pay What You Will.
In a normal year, after seeing jaw-dropping antics of outdoor performers, you’d drop money in their hat. This year, we’re taking care of filling the outdoor artists hats so you can kick back and enjoy the show. When you Pay What You Will for a ticket to ATB Park, your donation goes directly to supporting the artists.
Fringers who’ve already purchased tickets for ATB Park will be contacted directly by Edmonton Fringe’s Box Office.
