Free Fringe Shuttle

Thanks to support from the City of Edmonton and Edmonton Transit Service (ETS), Festival-goers can catch a free ride between the Fringe Grounds in Old Strathcona and the French Quarter during all 11 days of Festival.

Whether you’re heading to a show, exploring a new venue, or just giving your feet a little break, the Shuttle is an easy way to experience more Fringe.

Better yet? Every ride helps support the future of the program. This year marks a pilot return of the Shuttle service, so ridership matters! Hop on board and help keep connected Fringe experiences rolling into the future.

THE SHUTTLE IS FREE TO RIDE AND OPEN TO ALL FESTIVAL-GOERS. No proof of purchase or pass required.

This pilot project helps reconnect Festival Audiences across multiple Fringe hubs while making it easier for Edmontonians and visitors to explore more of the Festival. We’re incredibly grateful to the City of Edmonton and Edmonton Transit Service for restoring this vital infrastructure, and for keeping Fringe rolling!

Getting to Fringe
Fringe is easiest (and most fun) when we travel together. We encourage Festival-goers to take transit, bike, roll, scoot, rideshare, or walk whenever possible to help reduce congestion around the Festival sites.

Transit
The Fringe Festival Grounds and Shuttle stops are accessible through ETS bus service. ETS Park & Ride is also available at several transit centres across the city.

Shared Micromobility
The Fringe Grounds and French Quarter are both accessible by e-bike and e-scooter using City-approved vendors Bird Canada, Lime, and Neuron.

Please park responsibly, avoid blocking sidewalks and entrances, and share pathways respectfully with all users.

Walking & Rolling
Feeling adventurous? The French Quarter is approximately a 20-minute walk or roll from Fringe Festival Grounds – the perfect chance to soak in a little extra Fringe magic along the way.
