From spectacular street performances to immersive theatre experiences, the Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival is where possibility takes centre stage. That possibility is powered – boldly and generously – by ATB Financial.

Since 2014, ATB has been Fringe Theatre’s Lead Festival Partner, uplifting 1,600 Artists and welcoming 750,000 visits to the heart of Old Strathcona each summer.

We’re thrilled to share that partnership with ATB will continue to spark joy and drive artistic innovation.

“For 12 years, both the creativity and energy of the Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival has inspired us at ATB Financial,” says Curtis Stange, President & CEO of ATB. “In that spirit, we are excited to extend our long-standing support through 2027, helping to ensure this world-renowned event flourishes for years to come.”

ATB’s support goes far beyond logos and banners. They help bring the entire Festival experience to life: from free crafts for our littlest Fringers at KidsFringe; to our toe-tapping Music Series in ATB Park; to interactive installations as part of our Indigenous-led pêhonân series; to 223 theatre productions gracing stages across the city over the 11 days of Festival, ATB’s investment directly fuels the creative risk-taking that defines the Fringe Festival movement.

Thanks to ATB’s leadership, Artists from across Alberta and around the globe are empowered to tell bold stories, experiment with form, and launch new ideas on stage. It’s this entrepreneurial spirit that makes Edmonton Fringe a vital contributor to Alberta’s arts ecology and a key driver of our local economy.

In that spirit of entrepreneurship, you’ll also find the return of the wildly popular ATB Vends with Benefits machine on August 16 and 17 at the ATB Community Patio, offering up prizes like free theatre tickets. Plus, the ATB Golden Ticket contest offers one lucky winner the opportunity to experience an unforgettable VIP Fringe Festival experience.

ATB and ATB Wealth are dedicated to powering possibility for organizations, events, and initiatives across Alberta, Saskatoon, and the Okanagan Valley. Their sponsorships are rooted in true partnership: meaningful, community-driven, and aligned with the belief that investing in culture uplifts everyone.

Together, ATB and Fringe Theatre are building a future where art remains accessible, where Artists are supported, and where community thrives.

Thanks to ATB, Fringe doesn’t just imagine what’s possible – we give possibility a dashing costume, put it under a bright spotlight, and invite our community to join in the standing ovation.

Every dollar donated, every sponsorship formalized, every ticket purchased, and yes, even every beer drank counts. These aren’t just transactions. They’re declarations. A promise that you believe in making art for everyone.

Fringe Theatre delivers impact and is worth investing in. Would you like to help Fringe build community and drive economic impact in Edmonton?
