Bring the Fringe Magic to Life!
Did you know it takes 2,000 zip ties, 20 bottles of bug spray, 24 rolls of duct tape, 50 pool noodles, a pickup truck, 38 packages of spaghetti, a couple of 40-foot sea cans, and 30 glue sticks to make the Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival possible?
(it also takes 1,000 Volunteers who generously give 19,000 hours; 1,600 Artists who create 200+ shows; a Festival staff of 250 who dedicate their time, skill, and heart; a community of donors, sponsors, and funders who generously support us; and an immeasurable amount of creative ingenuity, but the zip ties and duct tape really help us pull it all together!)
We’re busy behind the scenes planning for the 2025 Fringe Festival. And you can help make it possible! We’ve created a special Festival Wish List—a registry of a few of the items and resources we need to make the magic happen.
From craft supplies for our tiniest Fringers at KidsFringe to play in to a pickup truck to keep site operations running smoothly, every contribution—big AND small—brings us closer to another unforgettable Festival.

Fringe Theatre hopes to raise $250,000 through this initiative in support of a greater, ongoing campaign. Funds raised support production of the Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival and the Fringe Theatre Season, and the operation of the Fringe Theatre Arts Barns. Our annual estimated cost of fundraising is 14%.
