August 24 Update

Flicker (Venue #27, Sugar Swing Ballroom: Upstairs) has updated its run time to 65 minutes. 

August 23 Updates

KidsFringe

KidsFringe will close at 4:30PM today due to weather.

Outdoor Programming

Fruit Loop X Indigi-Hauz Fringe 6:00PM Showcase (ATB Outdoor Stage) is cancelled due to weather.

August 22 Updates

Show Cancellation:

The August 22 (Tue) 8:00PM performance of Clown Macbeth (Venue #32, Mile Zero Dance Society) has been cancelled. Please contact boxoffice@fringetheatre.ca or call 780-409-1910 to receive a refund or exchange to another performance.

August 21 Updates

Show Updates: 

Scamway (Venue #33, The Playhouse) has added self-harm & death to its content advisories. 

Venue Updates:

Venue #33, The Playhouse, does not have a wheelchair-accessible washroom accessible to patrons. 

August 18 Updates

Sweet Jesus – The Gospel According to Felt (Venue #29, Lorne Cardinal Theatre) has updated its run time to 70 minutes. 

Outdoor Programming

All outdoor programming was cancelled today due to weather.

KidsFringe 

Rain, rain, go away!

Our KidsFringe site was unfortunately damaged in last night’s storm. Everyone is safe, but it will take us time to get KidsFringe back up and running for our littlest fringers.

As such, the KidsFringe site will not be open today, and we’re postponing KidsFringe Opening Ceremonies. Please stay tuned to our channels for updates. We’ll be back in Lighthorse Park and ready to host kids and their caregivers soon. Thank you for your patience!

Paranorma Pl has changed its recommended age rating to Adult (18+).

August 10 Updates

Shows: 

The Method Prix (Venue 17, The Grindstone Comedy Theatre) has changed its show rating to an Adult (18+) recommendation.

Additional Performance Time:

Chase Padgett – Nashbille Hurricane (Venue 24, Garneau Theatre) has an additional performance on August 27 (Sun) at 4:45pm. 

Venues:

Gateway Theatre (Venue 6) now has air conditioning.

Map Correction:

The Location of The playhouse (Venue 33) is incorrect on page 78 of the Festival Guide. The correct location of the venue is linked here.  

August 9 Updates

Site Map Update:

The location of our mikiwahp (tipi) has changed. Our mikiwahp (tipi) is now located on the West side of Gateway Boulevard (North of the street car tracks, South of Venue 8 Kick Point Old Strathcona Performing Arts Centre), instead of Cypher (aka 85) Avenue. Updated Map Linked here.

INSERT CLOWN HERE’s ticket prices have been changed to $18.00 regular price and $15.00 for students/seniors (including the $3.00 Festival fee).
