I’m A Vendor, How Can I Apply?
Fringe Theatre is proud to produce the Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival, the oldest and largest Festival of its kind in North America. Anchored in Edmonton’s Old Strathcona district, the Festival showcases hundreds of theatre productions and outdoor performances featuring more than 1,000 local, national, and international Artists inside theatres and across our outdoor site. Offering something for everyone, the Festival sees an attendance of more than 450,000 site visits over 11 days every August. Festival Vendors awaken all five senses of our Fringers.

PLEASE NOTE: Deadlines prior to Festival may shift depending on date of application. For more information, please contact vendoradmin@fringetheatre.ca
February 2024: Applications open for Vendors online at fringetheatre.ca. Vendors without online access to the application form may request that an application form be sent to them via email, or they may come to the Fringe office (10330 84 Avenue Edmonton AB, T6E 2G9) and fill one out.
Tuesday, April 2, 2024: Deadline for Vendors to submit applications.
Monday, April 15, 2024: Deadline Vendor Coordinator to inform Vendors of their acceptance or refusal into the Festival.
Monday, May 13, 2024: Deadline for Vendors to electronically provide a signed contract to the Vendor Coordinator.
Monday, May 27, 2024: First payment installment due: 50% of total fees must be paid in order to reserve space. Please note: Fringe Theatre accepts electronic forms of payment, via e-transfer, electronic fund transfer (EFT), and/or major credit cards (MasterCard and Visa). In-person payments (Cash, cheque or debit) will NOT be accepted. Upon contract signing, Vendors will be issued an electronic Quickbooks invoice via email with further payment details.
Monday, June 24, 2024: Final installment / balance due. All additional documentation required to participate in the Festival is also due.
Monday, August 12 – Wednesday, August 14, 2024: Vendors load in to the Festival site as per load-in schedule set by Vendor Coordinator.
Thursday, August 15 – Sunday, August 25, 2024: Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival
The main Festival site will be open:
- Thursday, August 15 (Opening): 6 PM to 11 PM
- Friday, August 16 – Saturday, August 24: 11 AM to 11 PM
- Sunday, August 25 (Closing): 11 AM to 8 PM
All Vendors must remain open during these specified times for the duration of Festival.
