Theatre is an exchange. A living, breathing story shared between people. At Fringe Theatre, we believe in the power of story. We believe everyone has something to contribute. And, we believe in making theatre accessible to everyone.

25% of all our regular season performances are Offer What you Will. You may offer any dollar amount you’re able to contribute, or you can offer other non-monetary ways of showing respect and mutual investment, such as tobacco, your own art, or a donation you feel the artist(s) will benefit from. No one will be turned away.

Each show description will include a listing of performance dates that have special events, including those performances that are 100% Offer What You Will.

The program applies to Fringe Theatre Season and Spotlight shows. Please note: Offer What you Will is not available for opening night performances or for Fringe Festival shows.

Tickets for each performance are available on the day of that performance. Tickets may be redeemed in person the day of the performance at the ATB Financial Arts Barns Box Office any time the box office is open. Click here to see our box office hours of operation.

There is no minimum amount required to contribute. We encourage you to contribute what you are able. While we do not want cost to be a barrier to attending a performance, we are a non-profit, charitable organization that relies on ticket sales, grants, and donations to maintain arts programming. Regular priced tickets are between $25-$30.

Each patron may redeem up to two tickets per performance.

If you are wowed by a performance you are welcome to make an additional donation after the show. Or, you can make a charitable gift online any time.

We genuinely believe everyone has something to contribute, even if that something isn’t money. Whatever you choose to contribute, please ensure it is something the artist(s) can benefit from directly. Gifts of tobacco, your own handmade/self-created art, and notes of appreciation are some examples of offers you may make.
