Salad is almost always on the menu at the Volunteer Kitchen, and this is our absolute favourite house dressing. It works well on almost any kind of salad!

Ingredients 

  • 1 cup nutritional yeast 
  • 1/3 cup + 1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar 
  • 1/4 cup tamari (can use soy or braggs) 
  • 3 cloves garlic 
  • pinch of sea salt 
  • ground pepper, to taste 
  • 1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil 

Instructions 

  1. Combine all dressing ingredients except olive oil into a blender. Blend until smooth and slowly add in the olive oil, with the blender on a low setting. Can also be made in a jar, add all ingredients, seal well and shake.
