Tickets for the 2017 Edmonton International Fringe™ Theatre Festival go on sale at noon on Wednesday, August 9, 2017.
Ticketing and Show Admission*
Artists set their ticket prices and receive 100% of the ticketed price sold. As a charitable organization, we ensure artists receive the full ticket sale by applying a $3 service fee to each ticket, which helps cover the cost of the box office operations.
You may purchase your tickets:
- By phone at (780) 409-1910
- In person at any Festival box offices (locations and times will be announced August 1)
- In person from TIX on the Square or La Cite Francophone
Tickets purchased by phone or online must be picked up at any box office prior to heading to the venue. Bring a photo ID and your transaction ID number, or the payment card used when the tickets were purchased. All ticket sales are final and there are no refunds or exchanges except in the event that the Festival cancels or changes the schedule of a performance.
If you try to purchase tickets to a performance and learn it is sold out, there is still hope! Sometimes additional seats may be released at the last minute. Check again online or at any box office 24 hours prior to the performance to see if any new tickets are available.
Due to various permitting and building codes, a ticket must be presented for each person who enters an indoor show, this includes infants. All tickets are general admission, with first come-first serve seating at all venues and shows. Because Fringe shows must keep to a tight schedule, latecomers are not permitted access. Also, keep in mind there are no intermissions. If you leave for any reason you will not be readmitted.
Check back August 1 for full details on Festival Ticketing and Show Admission.
